At some point during the first few days (or nights, actually,) if/when Kuja is looking at his gemstone and how its colors swap at night vs the day, he may notice something... smokey? wispy? swirling around the inside of the stone as if there's hollow space inside. this'll be noticeable for a couple of days before the effect disappears and his rock is just a rock.
