BONUS ACTIVITY
Bonus activity can be submitted after a character has been active for at least one month, and consists of a bundle of three threads, each with a minimum of five comments from you. Threads have no expiration date and can be banked for the future, but each character is restricted to five bonuses each calendar month.
Bonuses must have an impact on the character, which can be as simple as a favorite food, or as poignant as a memento from a loved one. They cannot be a living creature.
Possible bonus requests include:
ITEMS: either common items (such as food, clothing, and tools) which are ICly requested by the character, or canon specific items (owned by the character) which are OOCly requested;
POWERS: individual canon powers, which may be tiered depending on player preference;
MEMORIES: gaining, losing, or altering a memory (either a true memory or a false memory);
PLOT: a plot clue (specify what you would like more information about); limited to one every other month.

Bonus request: her Camera Obscura to work again
Impact: Ruka wants to be useful, and the camera allows that. It's deeply tied into her ability to recover her memories in-universe and her ability to hold her own against supernatural creatures, so being able to use it again could help her jog her memory more (not about things she's lost in this game, but things she's lost in her own world). I think it'd be fun to play with her looking through the photos on the camera as she uses it trying to unearth clues here and failing to connect pictures of Madoka to being one of her best friends, for example.

Bonus request: Basic item construction magecraft.
Again, only the basic kind though, so he won't be like. Handing out Noble Phantasms. He also won't be able to make things with more complicated mechanisms in them e.g. a gun, a space heater, any sort of technological device.
It also requires equivalent exchange for materials; he won't be able to just magic items out of nowhere. For example:
- A sword or lance would require metal (pipes, etc) that characters would have to scrounge the town for.
- Basic medicine might require Mandrake leaves or Shan Xiao gourds
- A Force gem equivalent might need Hamsa feathers
- A Fire gem equivalent might need some Kaso tails
- A Soul Drop equivalent might need dust from Pixie wings
Those sorts of things. This basically introduces an item crafting system of sorts into the game, so if you think it needs to be nerfed further/needs more bonus activity threads as proof, I'm happy to save this for another time/hash things out/nerf more or even replace this power regain request with like, basic Illusionism instead, if you already had other things in mind for the game and its direction.
Feel free to also nerf creations on the spot by having them dissolve or break for one reason or another and it can always be chalked up to in-universe as typical Mystic vs. Mystic interference (like how divine weapons repel human magecraft) where the world rules here don't play nice with his magecraft.
Impact: Merlin would be able to walk the mage walk instead of just talking the talk lmao. It would also annoy Alice supremely, because she doesn't believe he's a mage. More seriously, he intends to use his magecraft to benefit the populace as a whole, in order to bolster their collective fighting force and survivability, and to build up goodwill...that he really hopes to cash in on if/when they find out he's half-demon :)

Bonus request: one full tank of odm-specific fuel
Impact: this specific type of fuel is the only fuel that will allow armin's odm gear to function! tho the blades are still functional without it, the motor is not! uh oh! he's been spending a lot of mental energy on trying to conserve every drop, and additionally wants to reach the top of the wall once the rain stops - also odm manuevering is something so deeply ingrained in armin by this point - it was the ONLY method of survival for SO LONG! he's clinging to that comfort

Bonus request: Soot powers! Copying and pasting the description from her app: Her body produces soot, which she can then shape and manipulate as she pleases. Some in-canon applications of this power are:
► Creating "soot ropes" to bind people.
► Turning her hair into prehensile whips and hands using soot to move and extend it.
► Making "soot wings" to glide with (but she cannot actually fly on them).
► Making a soot doppelganger of herself to fool her enemy.
► Putting soot inside objects and then moving the object by controlling the soot.
It's mentioned in canon that her power isn't very strong, but her control of it is very precise. Her power is weak against water, as water will wash away soot.
Impact: Allows her to do more weird unique shadow stuff and also be a little more self-sufficient.

Impact: Well, apart from the obvious, Alice will feel the massive void beside her be filled and be less immediately "needy" (by her standards) for friendship and closeness... or at least that's what she'll try to convince herself of since Alice has discovered she has a very human need for such things that she can no longer deny!

Bonus request: Gladiator form! I did some canon review and the best that I can figure is that Ace actually has the keys to this even though Alice is the one who fights, which makes some amount of sense, hence why I staggered the regains.
Impact: This will confirm Alice's suspicions about her nature as some kind of "weapon" while plunging Ace into denial over his nature as an artificial being.

INSTEAD OF UNDOING REALITY her healing will function like dia (weak single target healing) but she can use it on herself and others. No hard limit on how many times a day she can use it (so if somebody is dying she can't fully heal them all at one time but she can like... heal them little by little 24839043 times until they're no longer dying) but it'll become harder and cause fatigue if she uses it too frequently. lmk if this sounds good to you!

Bonus request: Awakened: Spiritual Senses
Impact: For starters, one hell of a nosebleed. We're talking the recovery of a sense Nao has possessed since birth. The acquisition of said sense can easily make people born without it lose their minds in very short order in part due to the impact of the acquisition itself. The sudden loss of it? Let's just say she's done a pretty good job keeping her marbles together and functional despite a generally potentially maddening handicap/disability. She'll experience a deep relief being able to properly experience reality and the world and it will, in many ways, be like looking at everything and everyone in and around the town for the first time as "real" in a -- ha -- sense.
How so?
It's simple enough to say Nao's passive spiritual sense allows her to sense spiritual energy, but the fact of the matter is she experiences the world differently. She not only sees spirits, gods, demons, etc. and the whole of the world as it truly is, but feels it. As with all senses, hers was further developed throughout her life. With active concentration, she's capable of reading various types of spiritual energy. She's good at it, capable of detecting and discerning small traces and types and consequently pinpointing and tracking individual signatures.
In a sense, she can function as a navigator and she's very, very, very well-practiced at doing so in a huge city. Likewise, she's got a pretty big database to lean on in terms of discernment and identification. Of course, there are some potential drawbacks to having such a sense, namely a sensitivity to the energies she senses. Your average human feels like the room got cold all of a sudden and somebody's watching them while Nao is gripping their shoulder, stopping them five feet out of reach of the monstrous spirit radiating such an intense hatred and dread that it manifests as an increasingly burning cold that can and will freeze a person to death -- and Nao's doing it with a big ole smile, redirecting the oblivious just in time for said spirit to crash through the wall and freeze it.
You're a fire-type oni? Recently or noticeably descended from a god of some kind? A half-incubus masquerading as your friendly, neighborhood, fully human mage? Sweat. Sweat more.
